Bowlers Charter

 
The officials and Instructors of the Rubery YBC are not employees of the Hollywood bowl they give their time free of charge. As well as attending the Saturday Mornings at the Hollywood Bowl, there are several weekends during the year when we organise and assist bowlers at national competitions. In return, all we ask is that bowlers and parents help us to maintain the current high standard of behaviour by all club members at all times.

Please read the following club rules. 

  1. Members must at all times conduct themselves in a manner befitting the good name of the club
  2. No bad language, nor physical abuse of other bowlers, club officials or bowling centre staff.
  3. Smoking whilst under our jurisdiction or whilst wearing a club shirt is not permitted.
  4. No un-sporting behaviour, respect your fellow competitors at all times.
  5. Except when expressly permitted your club shirt must be worn during all club activities. (This is also a safety requirement so that tournament and club officials can identify individuals).
  6. Mobile phones must not be used whilst bowling and should be in silent mode or switched off. During competition phones must not be taken into the playing area.
  7. Baseball caps nor any other headgear is permitted during play.
  8. Always to be on your lane and ready to bowl when it is your turn.
  9. Whilst under our jurisdiction no bowler may leave the bowling centre.

 Serious or persistent offenders will be expelled from the club.
